Kamikaze Kanyon - about 40 minutes drive from Cape Town.
Gordon’s Bay offers you a full day’s worth of adventure with our “K.K.”
trip. The day starts off with a breakfast at the Sunbird Lodge, followed
by a gentle 45min hike into the gorge. The walk takes us to the base of a
series of tiered rock pools called the “Crystal Pools”. Here we instruct
you in the art of Kloofing, (jumping from rocks ledges into deep pools).
The jumps start at 3-7 meters for the cautious beginner, up to a 20-meter
jump for the truly courageous (or insane).
After we have worked our way up the kanyon rock pools (kloofing is not
compulsory), you will experience our fantastic 65 metre Waterfall Abseil
at the top of the gorge, with a view comparable to no other!
Please note that you will get wet on this trip! |
