Our new rates effective from 1 August 2006 are now updated on the
"Prices" page.
We have endeavoured to keep the rates as affordable as possible and
have hardly increased our prices in the smaller categories. We have
introduced a Group P which is an economy vehicle for the budget
conscious traveller. Our Group A now has airconditioning which
differentiates us from our competitors and is a result of responding
to our clients needs. A couple of exciting additions to the fleet
are the Nissan X-Trail 2.0 and the VW Caddy - both in Group X to
replace the phased-out Toyota Condor
The fully imported VW T5 Kombi replaces the T4 Caravelle which last
year replaced the ageing VW Microbus. This is a vast improvement but
comes with a substantially higher price tag, hence the price
increase.
Car prices in general have stabilised in SA this year and this has
meant that we have managed to keep prices affordable.
The good news is that we have kept the increases at a minimum and
our rates are still extremely good value. Also, we offer the only
genuine Full Cover option on CDW rates. With us you have no excess
to pay on damage to the rented car if you choose this option -
compare that to our opposition who sell "Super Cover" which still
carries an excess of several thousand rand.
In addition, we genuinely offer rates with no hidden extras - we do
not charge for additional drivers, airport taxes, tourism levies,
accident admin fee or traffic fine handling fee. These are all
points to consider when making your decision on which company to
use.
