Originally a hunting lodge and one of the oldest homes in Sea Point. Completely renovated with a trendy, luxurious and charming touch.

A spacious garden with a big salt water pool. Each bedroom has its own private shaded courtyard, under-floor heating, safe, heated towel rails and gowns.

Additional person in the room up to the age of 13 years is R300 extra per night, incl. breakfast. Babies up to the age of 2 years will be an added R50 per night.

Should you like to book the entire house (4 double rooms/ 8 people + 2 extra beds) the rate is R5500 per night incl. breakfast, all year round.

 

Booking conditions:
	A confirmation will be sent to you as soon as we have received your reservation. A 40% deposit , within two days of our confirmation, would be required to secure your reservation. Thereafter, Bickley House will be obliged to release the booking. Charges for extra services and consumables to be settled prior to departure by the guest. Credit cards (except Amex or Diners) are accepted. Internet banking is possible.

 

Cancellation policy:
	Cancellations made 14 days (21 days during Peak Season) to 2 days before arrival, 60% of the full rate is payable. Cancellations made later than 2 days prior to arrival, advanced departure or no-show, the full accommodation account is payable.

 

Useful information:

Bickley House is the oldest house in Sea Point and is classified as a national monument. From the beginning it was an old hunting lodge. The house is built in granite stone walls which makes the house very cool in the summer and keeps the heat in the winter. All bedrooms are very spacious and our beds are big, wide and spacious, on request they can be semi detached. We only use 100% cotton sheets for our beds. All rooms have high ceilings and a relaxing atmosphere. Every room contains radiators and underfloor heating, gowns, pool towels and a safe. We offer free internet access and wireless network for laptops. DVD player, library and safe off-street parking. Children welcome. We have a large saltwater swimming pool that is unique from all the other ones in the area. We also have a Bickley House car which available for rental. Breakfast is served from 08h00 -10h00 on our terrace or in our lounge (depending on weather). Coffee, teas, hot chocolate and sherry are complimentary and can be enjoyed by the guests at all times. The Beach Promenade is 5 minutes away, and the shops are within walking distance. Airport transfers, taxi, car rental, safari,tours and much more can be arranged for you by us. We have a great knowledge of what is happening in Cape Town and what you as our guest would like to see and do. Rooms are ready for occupation after 14h00. Check-out time is 10h00. Should a room be required during the day of departure, please ensure to book an extra night as we are unable to offer a late check-out.
