| The excellent wines produced in this area are
world-renowned, and the many wine farms in the Region are
major draw cards for tourists. You will be spoilt for choice
between small, boutique wineries and the larger, more
commercial wine estates. Formalised tastings and cellar tours
are available at many farms. Restaurants, offering from tea
and scones to nouvelle cuisine will revive taste buds,
fatigued by the many wines on offer. Also explore the Brandy
Route with its many fine cellars, some offering fascinating
demonstrations of the brandy making process.
